Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern NJ is NOT an emergency psychiatric service. The staff is not on call to respond to emergencies. The following is a list of contacts that you can call in case of an emergency.

 

911

Call 911 or go to the Emergency Department if it is a life-threatening emergency. Notify the 911 operator that it is a psychiatric emergency and ask for an officer trained in crisis intervention or trained to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency.

ADV is a multifaceted Bergen County lead domestic violence nonresidential intervention program that offers services to individuals and families involved in an abusive relationship, including a 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, counseling, legal/victim advocacy, and assistance and referrals.

Children's Mobile Crisis Team 

24-Hour/7 Days a Week Crisis Intervention and Stabilization for Children and Youth. Program Goals: Maintain children in safe and stable living arrangements in the community, thereby reducing the need for out-of-home placement or psychiatric hospitalization. Click here for flyer.
