Jewish Community Social Work Program
The Jewish Community Social Work Program serves children, teens, adults, and seniors through workshops, groups, and counseling offered on-site at local synagogues, day schools, Jewish camps, and JCCs. The purpose of the program is to provide community support services in a manner that is non-threatening, and in a venue that is familiar and accessible. Participants have the opportunity to gain information, obtain support, and learn that the challenges they face can be addressed with care and compassion through a Jewish lens. The Club Ed Afterschool Program provides children with engaging programming in a safe environment. Our afterschool childcare is provided in schools in the Cliffside Park, North Bergen, Fairview and Fort Lee public schools. Click for more info.

JFCS offers support groups in the following areas: Women Affected by Intimate Partner Violence; Children of Holocaust Survivors Second Generation Discussion Group; Bereavement; Eating Disorders; JACS - Jewish Alcoholics and Chemically Dependent Persons and Significant Others.
JFCS is committed to group work as a valuable approach. If a particular need arises with four or more individuals struggling with similar issues, JFCS professionals will facilitate the formation of groups for therapeutic, moral support, or co-educational value. Click for more info.
