Club Ed - Afterschool Programs
The Club Ed Afterschool Program provides children with engaging programming in a safe environment. Our afterschool childcare is provided in schools in the Cliffside Park, North Bergen, Fairview, and Fort Lee public schools. Click for more info.
JFCS offers support groups in the following areas: Bereavement for Widows/Widowers, Second Generation Holocaust Survivors, Coping with Aging Parents, Wolff Caregiver (for caregivers of people with dementia/Alzheimer's), Social Skills group for children, and Israeli Women's group. All support groups are currently being held over zoom.
JFCS is committed to group work as a valuable approach. If a particular need arises with four or more individuals struggling with similar issues, JFCS professionals will facilitate the formation of groups for therapeutic, moral support, or co-educational value. Click for more info.
Helping families meet the financial challenges they face while dealing with economic difficulties in their lives. JFCS caseworkers assist clients in assessing their situations and creating action plans that meet their immediate critical needs, with long-term stabilization as the goal. Click for more info.
Whether you are unemployed or underemployed, we can help you navigate the job market, work on your (zoom) interview skills, create an action plan for your job search and help you regain confidence in your abilities. Click for more info.
JFCS provides interns with quality supervision by experienced professionals who are committed to their development. A comprehensive training curriculum, including presentations, case studies and discussions, is also key.
