JFCS is Supporting Our Community During the Swords of Iron War

JFCS is here for the community during turbulent and uncertain times. Our support group program exists to ensure people can cope with their worries and have a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings.

Currently, we are operating these Israel-centered support groups:

  • Adults Struggling to Cope With Recent Events

  • Parents of IDF Soldiers

  • Israeli Teens/Young Adults

  • Jewish Teens/Young Adults

  • Holocaust Survivors

We are here to meet the needs of the community. If there is a group you would like us to start, please let us know: 201-837-9090 | groups@jfcsnnj.org

Our Care Managers are in constant contact with our 300 Holocaust survivors, offering support and ensuring their emotional needs are being met. We provide our survivor clients with transportation to and from support groups where they share their thoughts and feelings about Israel with their fellow survivors. We also offer virtual groups for our clients that have a difficult time traveling.

Our Holocaust survivor clients are especially vulnerable during this time of tragedy, and we are vigilant in making sure they have the support they need.

If you are a Holocaust survivor or know a survivor who could benefit from our services, please contact us: 201-837-9090 | groups@jfcsnnj.org

There are over 3,000 Israeli families living in Northern New Jersey and JFCS serves many of them with our mental health services and support groups. We have wonderful Israeli staff members who connect and relate to the Israeli community. This enables us to offer professional support to our Israeli clients who need a safe space to discuss what is happening to their friends and family back in Israel.

If you are a member of the Israeli community in NJ and could benefit from our services, please contact us: 201-837-9090 | IsraeliServices@jfcsnnj.org
